Bread Machine Donuts
Time to dust off the bread machine and put it to work making Bread Machine Donuts. Let the bread machine do the mixing and kneading, while you go get other things done. Perfect for brunch or anytime you want to take fresh breakfast up a notch or two.

Bread Machine Donuts come out soft on the inside with a light golden outside. They fry quickly and hold their shape well, making them a recipe you’ll want to make again.
The glaze sets into a smooth coating that gives each bite that classic donut finish. I’ve got tips for changing up the glaze down below if you’re interested.
The dough cycle keeps things consistent, which helps if you’re newer to yeast recipes. It’s also flexible, so you can change toppings or shapes easily. Great for weekends, holidays, or when you just want something warm and fresh.

How To Change Up This Recipe
You can swap the glaze for cinnamon sugar if you want something simpler. Just mix the cinnamon and sugar together and roll fresh the fresh donuts in it.
If you prefer you can just cut the homemade donuts into donut holes instead of full donuts. Donut holes are especially fun if you have kids or need to feed a bunch of people.
Topping for the donuts can be mixed up too. Try toasted pecan or toasted nuts over the glaze.
Store Leftovers
Store leftover donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for a day or two. If you need to keep them longer, refrigerate them and warm slightly before serving.
