Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water warmed to 110°F
  • 2 tbsp butter room temperature
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp instant coffee granules
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast 1 packet

Instructions

Bread Machine Loaf

  • Add all ingredients to the bread machine in the order listed

  • Select the wheat bread cycle and start the machine
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes

  • Remove and cool completely on a wire rack

For Regular Loaves or Rolls

  • Select the dough cycle on the bread machine
  • Once complete punch down the dough and transfer to a lightly floured surface
  • Divide into 2 loaves or 12 rolls
  • Place into greased pans
  • Cover and let rise until doubled about 1 hour
  • Bake at 350°F for 20 to 24 minutes until baked through
