Bread Machine Pretzels
Bread Machine Pretzels come together easily with help from the bread machine. Get homemade results without a lot of effort. They bake up with that familiar chewy center and a lightly crisp outside. They’re simple enough to make again and again when you lean on a bread machine to do most of the work for you.

The pretzel dough is soft and easy to work with once it’s mixed and risen in the bread machine. The resulting pretzels are chewy, salty and 100% dip-able. Serve them warm, fresh out of the oven with your favorite cheesy dip.

Using your bread machine gives it new life and a reason to still exist in your kitchen arsenal. If you don’t have one look for them at the thrift store, they’re often donated by people who move up to a stand mixer. Or ask in your local buy nothing group, that’s where I got mine!

Change Up This Recipe
You can skip the pretzel shape and make sticks or bites instead. Or any other fun shape you want to make.
Instead of salting these pretzels make them sweet. But do it after baking. Brush them with melted butter when they’re fresh out of the oven, then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

Leftover Pretzels
If you have leftovers pretzels store them in an airtight container at room temperature for a day or two. The salt will melt into the preztels when you’re storing them. The salty finish will still be there but the big flakes will be melted.
To reheat them you can wrap them in foil and reheat quickly in the air fryer. Or wrap them in a paper towel and reheat them in the microwave just until they’re warm. Don’t reheat them too long or they’ll get crispy. They’re still good at that point but not the big soft chewy pretzel you’re looking for.
