Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast
  • 4 oz green chilies 
  • 4 oz diced jalapenos
  • 15 oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 3 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 6 tsp chicken bouillon 
  • 6 cups water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups fried tortilla strips or any tortilla strips

Instructions

  • Add green chilies, jalapenos, tomatoes, diced onions, garlic, spices, and water to the crock pot and stir until incorporated

  • Place chicken in mixture and cook for 5 hours on high or 7 hours on low

  • When you are about ready to eat, pull chicken out of the crock pot and shred it
