Crock Pot cabbage roll soup combines all the hearty flavors of traditional cabbage rolls in an easy, slow-cooked meal. It’s a comforting, flavorful dish perfect for a cozy dinner with minimal effort.

1 lb lean ground beef use 93/7 and you won’t need to drain any grease 1 medium onion, diced 1 tsp oregano 3 cups chopped cabbage 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes 8 oz can tomato sauce ½ tsp salt ½ tsp pepper 32 oz beef broth ADD LATER 1 cup Minute rice uncooked
In a frying pan over medium high heat, quickly brown the ground beef and chopped onion (you can skip this step if you want to!)
meanwhile add all the remaining ingredients except the rice
stir to combine
when the beef is browned, if you chose to brown it, stir it into the crock as well
cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours
stir in the rice and let it cook (see post for more details)
serve hot
