A classic soft white bread loaf that is easy reliable and perfect for sandwiches toast or everyday slicing

- 1 cup water heated to 110°F
- 3 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast or bread machine yeast
Place the ingredients into the bread machine pan in the order listed or according to the manufacturer instructions
Select the white bread cycle and choose your desired crust color
Start the machine
When finished remove the pan and let the bread cool for 5 minutes
Turn the loaf out onto a wire rack and cool completely before slicing
Slice into 8 slices or slice as you use it
- For a softer crust, brush the top with butter while warm
- This bread freezes well once fully cooled and wrapped tightly
