Recycled Easter Egg Cups

Recycle those mismatched plastic Easter Eggs into sweet little egg cups that are perfect for decorating or gift giving.

Equipment

  • glue gun
  • glue sticks for the glue gun

Materials

  • 16 mismatched pieces of plastic Easter Eggs
  • leftover spray paint of various colors don't have any spray paint? Check your landfill, they often offer leftover paints you pick up for free! Call them for more details.

Instructions

  • preheat the glue gun
  • sort eggs and make 8 pairs of eggs, a large and small piece for each egg cup
  • when the glue gun is hot use it to glue a pair of egg pieces together, hold each cup together until it cools and holds itself together
    Glued egg cups.
  • repeat with all the eggs
  • in a warm dry place, where you won't worry about overspray, lightly spray paint the egg cups, only spray paint the outside of the eggs
  • repeat the spray paint and let the egg cups dry
  • once the egg cups are done you can use them anyway you see fit
    Egg cups filled with easter candy.
