- 8 oz Lion's Mane mushrooms
- 1 tbsp butter salted or unsalted
- sea salt or kosher salt
Heat the butter in a cast-iron skillet until it melts
Clean the Lion’s Mane mushrooms by wiping off any dirt and trimming tough chunks from the bottom
Slice the mushrooms into slabs or steaks, or tear them apart if preferred
Add the cleaned mushrooms to the skillet once the butter has melted
Fry them on one side until browned, about 4-6 minutes
Flip and fry until browned on the other side
Sprinkle with salt and serve hot out of the pan
