DIY Green Tea Cleansing Grains
Cleansing grains are a natural exfoliating powder you can mix with water to cleanse and gently exfoliate the skin. These easy DIY Matcha Cleansing Grains help remove dead skin cells, and leave your skin smoother and more refreshed without the harshness of some scrubs.

Unlike traditional store-bought cleansers, they’re free from preservatives and synthetic additives, making them a simple, effective choice for those wanting a more natural skincare routine. Plus it’s just fun to make these kinds of potions at home!
Why We Need Cleansing Grains
These grains provide mild exfoliation that helps unclog pores, remove impurities, and improve skin texture, promoting a brighter complexion. They’re also customizable, so you can adjust ingredients based on your skin’s needs, adding more or less of any ingredients or choosing different flower powders like lavender or chamomile for extra soothing properties.

How Often to Use
Using cleansing grains twice a week is generally enough to reap the benefits without over-exfoliating, which can irritate the skin. This frequency keeps your skin feeling smooth and refreshed without disturbing its natural balance.
I use these cleansing grains twice a week on my arms to help with Keratosis pilaris. I also use glycolic acid for Keratosis pilaris, and my arms are looking and feeling so much smoother.
