Welcome to Farm Fresh Tuesdays Blog Hop #73! And hurray for October! Fall is finally here, with brisk mornings, falling pine straw, and fields of cotton popping out. I really love fall. It won’t be long and the holidays will be upon us.

It has been busy around here this week. The fall garden is coming along, cutting the grass for (hopefully) the last time, and squirreling supplies away for the winter. What have ya’ll been up to?

A lot, apparently, because there were so many wonderful posts shared last week that it was hard to pick a feature!

Now, Let’s Get This Party Started

Share your recipes, garden tips, home schooling, decor and more here with us! Can’t wait to see what y’all share this week!

Did you miss last week’s hop? You can find it HERE.

Donna, from Two Chicks and a Mom, is sharing Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cake. Personally, I love baking with pumpkin. It makes for a moist, flavorful finished product. And I just can’t say enough about adding chocolate to anything baked – delicious! Thanks for sharing with us!

**** There is chatter that there will be a canned pumpkin shortage with many stores being out of stock. The last time I checked Walmart they were out but I found canned pumpkin at Aldi this weekend at .85/can.

Michele, from Living Our Days, is sharing You Are NOT at the Mercy of Your Feelings. Michele always seems to share something that speaks to my soul right when I need it! God gives us the tools to deal with every day and we can’t forget how important prayer is in our lives! Thanks for sharing with us!

“Things happen which would not happen without prayer. Let us not forget that.” ~Elisabeth Elliot

CJ, from Morsels of Life, is sharing Zucchini Cakes. My zucchini are long gone but I will be saving this recipe for next summer! These cakes look so tasty! Thanks for sharing with us CJ!

Morsels of Life - Zucchini Cakes - Julienned zucchini, combined with sweet onions and salty Cotija cheese, formed into little cakes with breadcrumbs and egg, then pan-fried into perfect little zucchini cakes.
